Sheridan Leads Colgate at Albany Invitational

— Junior Ed Sheridan led the Colgate University men's cross-country team to an eighth place finish Saturday at the Albany Invitational. Sheridan finished 33rd overall with a personal-best time of 25:48.3.

Marist won the meet placing three harriers in the top-10 for a low score of 47 points, while the Raiders finished eighth with 243 points out of field of 24.
 
Junior Dan Gleason finished second on the team, 34th overall, with a time of 25:48.9, while freshman Chris Johnson was directly behind him with a personal-best time of 25:49.2.

Sophomore Tim Metivier, and junior Grant Stauffer rounded out the Raiders with times of 26:15.6 and 26:18.4, respectively.
 
Colgate hits the course again on Oct. 31, as it hosts the Patriot League Championship, the meet is set to begin at 11 a.m.
