Sheridan Leads Colgate at Paul Short Run

HAMILTON, N.Y. (10/2/2009)—Junior
Ed Sheridan led the Colgate University men's cross country team in the brown race, Friday at the Paul Short Run. Sheridan finished 34th overall with a personal-best time of 25:50.
Wayne State won the meet placing three harriers in the top-30 for a low score of 185 points, while the Raiders finished 22nd with 491 points out of field of 38.
Freshman
Chris Johnson finished second on the team with a time of 25:56, while juniors
Dan Gleason,
Bryan Crowley, and
Grant Stauffer rounded out the Raiders with times of 26:40, 26:42 and 27:12, respectively.
Colgate hits the course again on Oct. 10, at the Hamilton Invitational the meet is set to begin at 11 a.m.
