ITHACA, N.Y. (4/26/09)— Junior Sarah Chabal (Hummelstown, Pa.) of the Colgate University women’s track and field team tie the school record in the triple jump at the Big Red Invitational hosted by Cornell on Sunday, April 26. 

Chabal leaped a personal-best of 37’ 11.5” to tie the mark Nolana Quince ’05 posted in 2003. Chabal’s mark is also the second-best in the Patriot League this season.
 
Sophomore Noelle Edmonson (Yonkers, N.Y.) also managed to break into the Colgate top-10 list with a personal-best 1:08.70 in the 400-meter hurdles.    
 
The Raiders will compete at the Patriot League Championship next weekend, May 1-3 at Army.
