HAMILTON, NY (8/31/09) – The Colgate Marketing and Promotions Department is proud to announce its upcoming promotional schedule for the dates of September 1st – September 7th where Colgate will host its first Football and Men’s Soccer games of the season.
Men’s Soccer will be on the field to defend their back-to-back Patriot League titles as they open their season against Long Island State. Head Coach Erik Ronning is inviting everyone out to the game and will be supplying 100 free pizzas from Oliveri’s Pizzaria for people to enjoy at half-time. Following that up will be the Field Hockey team with their “Back-to-School” promotions. The team will be giving away notebooks, pens, pencils and rules to kids 12th grade and below, while supplies last. They will also be giving away free ice cream to fans as they enter the gates and Colgate Students will be entered into a free raffle to win a Nintendo Wii. · Free Mini Soccer Balls during the game
· Sumo Wrestling at half-time
· Free Pizza Party for all in attendance (while supplies last)
Field Hockey Promotions on September 4th vs. Central Michigan @ 7:00pm- Free admission
· Back to School Day – Marketing and Promotions will be giving away free notebooks, pens and rulers to the youth in attendance.
· Free raffle for students to win a Wii
· Obstacle course at half-time
· ROWDY RAIDERS GAME!!!
Football Promotions on September 5th vs. Monmouth @ 6:00pm
