Raiders Finish Third at Colgate Invitational

HAMILTON, N.Y. (9/19/2009)—The Colgate University men's cross country team finished third on Saturday hosting the Colgate Invitational.
Syracuse won the meet placing all five harriers in the top-10 for a low score of 19 points. Colgate placed five runners in the top-20 to accumulate 85 points for third place.
Freshman
Christopher Johnson, and juniors
Ed Sheridan and
Daniel Gleason led all Colgate runners in the 6k, finishing 15th, 16th and 17th overall with times of 27:33, 27:34 and 27:38, respectively.
Juniors
Griffith Cannon and
Bryan Crowley rounded out the top five for the Raiders, hitting the tape in 27:41 and 28:01.
Colgate hits the course again on Oct. 3, at the Paul Short Invitational the meet is set to begin at 12:15 p.m.
